CoachMe is built on the principle of Privacy by Design. Your inspiration is your
business, not ours.
CoachMe has no account system, no telemetry and no hidden analytics (like Firebase or Google Analytics). We don't even know when you open the app.
Your cards, photos and settings are stored on your device using SwiftData and UserDefaults. If iCloud is enabled for CoachMe, they are synced through your own private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit).
Synced data is tied to your Apple Account and handled by Apple under its own privacy policy. As the developer, I have no access to it: it never passes through any server of ours. Sync is optional — you can turn it off at any time in your device's iCloud settings, and CoachMe keeps working locally.
We use Apple's Unified Logging (OSLog) for diagnostics. All sensitive content (your card text and
file paths) is explicitly marked as <private>. This means it is automatically redacted and never
visible in system logs unless you are debugging the app yourself.
Automatic backups are created before major updates. They are stored in the app's private space on your device and are never sent anywhere.
CoachMe Pro is bought through the App Store. Payment and Family Sharing are handled entirely by Apple — we never see your payment details or your identity.
CoachMe has no servers of its own and uses no third-party services other than Apple's: iCloud (for sync, if enabled) and the App Store (for purchases).
Free lets you create up to 3 custom cards, and Surprise mode draws from those cards. Pro (€9.99 one-time) unlocks two things:

Absolutely — you set the rhythm. Schedule specific times, regular intervals during work hours, or let surprise cards land throughout the day. Pause everything during focus blocks, evenings, weekends — whenever you need silence.
On your devices, and in your own private iCloud if iCloud is enabled for CoachMe. Never on our servers — we don't have any. No account, no telemetry: we don't even know when you open the app. You can turn iCloud sync off at any time in your device's settings.
No. CoachMe makes a backup before it changes anything. If you already use color, Holi, the color mode, stays on and your cards look just as before. You can switch to black and white anytime in Settings.
Yes — the library is the core ongoing work. The goal is to grow toward several thousand quotes and add more languages over time. Your Pro purchase funds this directly, and all updates are free for Pro users.
